From “The Best Films of 2024 As Chosen by Some of Its Key Filmmakers” at Filmmaker Magazine.
One of the selections is "Invention". The filmmakers cite Homemade videos about making free energy, Royal Rife, healing copper demos, and Ong’s Hat as inspiration.
This is my second time seeing this film, and the Ong’s Hat inspiration being cited. I haven’t seen this film yet, but you can be sure I will. The list of inspiring elements is right up my alley. It’s a bit of an ouroboros since those elements inspired Ong’s Hat. and most of my other storytelling.
