I've been looking forward to mixing this one for a while now. Originally slated for a larger project that got tabled, I went around the horn in 8 interviews with Joseph. I wanted to understand just why anyone would want to birth such an idea into the world. Starting from his youth in Chicago and punk-fueled runs ins with Chitown's art elite, to his crossover into an electric and psychedelic-fueled 1990's Silicon Valley. Art, philosophy, drugs, computers, and startups, plus a heaping dose of strange. The behind Joe's creation of Ong's Hat has it all.
