So, there I was a few weeks ago, adding a digital/print bundle to my SendOwl store page. Admittedly, I was setting up this offering in anticipation of a box of print books arriving the next day. Still, I figured if I didn’t formally announce the bundle, no one would find it and order it, and if they did, I knew the books would arrive the next day, and I could sign and send the few, if any, orders that may trickle in. I thought I was ahead of the game here.
Imagine my surprise the next day when I discovered that even without announcing the availability of the bundle, people had found the offering and had begun to order. By day two, I had to remove the offering because the box of books due to arrive that day had already been sold. This is not a complaint but an explanation for why I am now notifying you that the signed print/digital bundle is again available for one more round.
I have one more box of books, which I will sign and offer for sale. When these are gone, I will no longer offer signed print books.
About the bundle
Some pics of the print edition from the illustrator, Jason Nunes.
Statio Numero, like all the pieces in the Liminal Cycle, is structured and designed to be interdisciplinary, even extending into the meta-levels.
The Liminal Cycle
It is presented in three acts across multiple mediums
Liminal– A novella presented as a movie treatment (possibly to be a free internet video next year)
Xen– A novel in the form of a “found” mobile audio journal, presented as an audio drama and a book.
Statio Numero-a graphic novel presented as an interactive product plan for an abandoned game.
Each act has a primary medium, with secondary and tertiary forms for people’s convenience and preference.
Liminal is intended as a movie treatment and possibly a movie; Xen’s primary medium is audio, with the print being secondary, etc.
Statio Numero’s primary form is the interactive PDF, with the physical print version being a memento artifact offered for those who like to collect such things. But the work itself is an interactive PDF.
I am offering the signed digital print bundle, the stand-alone signed PDF, and a standalone signed print book at the above link until supplies of the print version are exhausted. At this point, I will no longer offer signed physical copies of the work.
I hope you are all doing well, and I look forward to sharing a final media appearance in the near future, most likely my last.
