Hey John, Thank you very much for including the link to the podcast & their YouTube channel. Especially since my PocketCasts doesn't have it.

It's really interesting to hear so many points of views and theories surrounds what you brought to the world with Ong's Hat and the Liminal Trilogy. With the lost town of Ong's Hat being both the center of the lore of not only gateway to parallel worlds but also the Liminal nature of it.

What also creates even more intriguing mystery surrounding the lost town of Ong's Hat, is it's very proximity to what is considered one of the Most Feared roads in the US, Route 72. Running from Long Beach Island at the Jersey Shore and stretching miles through the Pine Barrens till it reaches Ong's Hat Road, near where the lost town of Ong's Hat is said to once stood.

Travelling along this heavily wooded road, especially at night with it's spotty Cell Service is like a journey down a highway in liminal space. Because of Route 72 lacks of rest stops and other places you can walk to for help. (Though when route 72 reaches Ong's Hat road their is a possible Oasis (Magnolia Road Bar) where you may find phone to call AAA and great food & drink)

Route 72 is also feared for the number strange disappearances and even stranger remains that had been found on or near rt 72. With a number of cause of cases still unsolved.

One of the first publicized was a murdered couple Mr. & Mrs John Zembickes who were killed at night in their cabin located in Ong's Hat NJ in 1917, and who remains were found over the next 9 years. Mrs. Zembickes a 1/4 mile away from the outshirts of town and her husband 2 1/2 miles further.

Little is known of who or why the murders happened, but theories over the years believe it was robbery, and strange signs that crimes may of been ritualized.

According to Ong's Hat lore it was a gate to a Parallel Earth where humans never lived before, but maybe it also served as a gate for other darker realities to travel to ours.

Or perhaps it's just a great ARG, Mystery & Ghost Story.
