I have started on the third chapter of what I estimate to be six or eight additional chapters for a new version of Ong’s Hat, titled Ong’s Hat: Compleat. I expect to have it finished and in the market by early next year. As is my custom, I have made a totemic cover to look at while I write. I don’t expect this to be the final cover, but it helps me at least have a visual placeholder while working.
Compleat will comprehensively tell the mythos/history of the Ong’s Hat “living book” project (later called ARG and then Transmedia). It's influence, its participants/collaborators, etc. I will post a pre-order link around the first of next year, barring any unforeseen issues.
A few interview-type things are floating around, and I’ll make you aware of those when they see the light of day. I suspect the current writer’s strike is affecting the publication of things right now, so be patient.
As always, be well.
I actually live in the town next to Ong's Hat. It's a creepy place.
Excellent. Quality is worth waiting for
